Nancy Guthrie has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department confirmed to PEOPLE that authorities are still operating on the belief that Nancy is \u201calive\u201d<\/p>\n
The FBI\u2019s Phoenix\u00a0office previously announced that\u00a0\u201cnumerous FBI agents are conducting an extensive search\u201d in the geographic areas related to the investigation<\/p>\n
Authorities are still operating as if\u00a0Savannah Guthrie\u2019s missing mother,\u00a0Nancy Guthrie, is still alive, 11 days into their search.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department told PEOPLE that the investigation \u201cis still operating\u201d on the belief \u201cthat Nancy is alive.\u201d<\/p>\n
Earlier on Wednesday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation\u2019s Phoenix office said in an\u00a0X\u00a0post that \u201cnumerous FBI agents are conducting an extensive search\u00a0along multiple roadways in the Catalina Foothills area related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nancy, 84, was last seen on the evening of Jan. 31, when she was dropped off at her home in Arizona at around at 9:48 p.m. after having dinner with her daughter\u00a0Annie Guthrie\u00a0and her son-in-law. Her family reported her missing the next day at around 12:03 p.m. after being alerted that she did not did not meet up with friends for a church livestream.<\/p>\n
Authorities believe she was kidnapped in the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 1. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos also previously confirmed that\u00a0blood found on the exterior porch\u00a0of Nancy\u2019s home matches her DNA.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, Feb. 10, the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department and FBI Director Kash Patel posted\u00a0images and videos on X, showing an \u201carmed subject\u201d in connection with the disappearance. They can be seen wearing gloves and a mask over their face.<\/p>\n
\u201cWorking with our partners \u2014 as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie\u2019s front door the morning of her disappearance,\u201d\u00a0Nanos wrote in a statement.<\/p>\n
Savannah, 54, reshared the images on\u00a0Instagram\u00a0moments later.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe she is still alive. Bring her home,\u201d she wrote in the caption. \u201cAnyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department 520-351-4900.\u201d<\/p>\n
She\u00a0followed it up with a second post\u00a0of a video clip with the caption: \u201cSomeone out there recognizes this person. We believe she is still out there. Bring her home.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since Nancy went missing, several media outlets have received\u00a0alleged ransom notes\u00a0from her potential kidnappers. An initial deadline was reportedly set for 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, and a second for 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9.<\/p>\n
That day, Savannah posted a\u00a0video to her Instagram\u00a0to share \u201ca few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI just want to say first of all, thank you so much for all of the prayers and the love that we have felt \u2014 my sister, my brother and I. And that our mom has felt,\u201d she said. \u201cBecause we believe that somehow, someway, she is feeling these prayers and that God is lifting her in this moment and in this darkest place.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe our mom is still out there,\u201d Savannah continued. \u201cWe need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock, trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken and we don\u2019t know where. And we need your help.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Today\u00a0<\/em>anchor and her two siblings have made several pleas on social media for the potential kidnapper or kidnappers to return their mom.
